Privacy
Short, because the site collects almost nothing.
The short version
No cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party scripts, no forms. There is nothing to opt out of, which is why there is no consent banner.
What happens when you visit
- Your browser requests pages, styles, fonts and images from this site's own server. Nothing loads from any other domain.
- The hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs — address, URL, user agent, timestamp — as every web server does. They are used for security and troubleshooting and are not combined with anything else.
The one thing stored in your browser
If you use the theme button, your light or dark preference is saved in your browser's local storage under the key cw-theme. It never leaves your device, is not a cookie, is not sent to the server, and is not used to identify you. Clearing site data removes it and the site simply follows your operating system setting again.
Search
Search runs entirely in your browser against a static index it has already downloaded. Queries are never transmitted to this site, to us, or to any search provider, and are not logged anywhere.
Links away from here
When you follow a link to another site, that site's practices apply and it may set cookies or track you. We have no visibility into that.
If you write to us
We keep what you send only as long as needed to reply and to record a correction. There is no mailing list. Please do not send sensitive personal information — email is not secure and we are not your lawyer.
Changes
If this site ever adds analytics, advertising or a form, this page will be rewritten to describe exactly what is collected before the change goes live, not afterwards.
